There is an email floating around about a Julia Miller – a reporter from Health News 6 or Health News 7.  The report talks about how Julia Miller used Acai berry to lose 28 pounds in 4 weeks.   The news site looks real enough – complete with links for things like Sports, Weather, Business, etc.  The only problem is that the entire news site is a fake.

A report by PowerSupplements.Com about the Julia Miller Acai scam has just been published and it is incredible!  It turns out that Julia Miller is completely made up.  The News 6 Health company  – also made up.  Same for News 7 Health or News 9 Health.  In the article they show how the picture of Julia Miller even changes depending on what site you are at.  Julia Miller is just a stock photo!

It is very sad the length some people will go to scam people out of their money.  The internet makes it easy for anyone with some knowledge of photoshop to create a site that looks like a real news site.  But this is no minor joke – millions of real dollars are being lost to these acai scams.

Let’s all do our part to expose this Julia Miller Health News Acai scam.  Link to this article or email it to your friends.  The more people who know, the better the chance the FTC will shut these scammers down.

Always read reviews and customer testimonials about a particular company name because these are concrete proof that the company is a legal and reliable one.  Believe it or not, there are over a hundred of public records services trying to make it to the top through illegal means, so to avoid these kinds you have to read and pick out the good ones that other people have already been a member of.  

In relation to the previous tip, never forget to check if the website has been updated to this year’s edition.  This is very important because documents like personal records and business information should constantly be updated and added for it to become useful for other people.  Always check or ask the company behind the online service if you think the information displayed in their website isn’t enough to assure you of its reliability.  

Okay, so you would come out as being too strict or paranoid, so what?  There really isn’t any harm in filtering the outdated and unreliable public records services from the trustworthy and updated ones, so never hesitate to go for what is popularly accepted by the community.
